There are three ways to reach this place. If you are travelling in your private car, this city is only 13 km away from Nainital. You can also hire a cab to get to this place.

You can take the Kathgodam route to reach the Katgodam railway station and take a taxi or bus to reach this place. Otherwise, Pantnagar Airport is within the vicinity of Pangot and Kilbury bird sanctuary. It will take only 2-3 hours from this airport to travel to this sanctuary.

Jim Corbett Gurney House

Jim Corbett Gurney House: During the British times, Gurney house was an abode of the hunter, tracker-Jim Corbett. Now it is a heritage house in the middle of greenery and is the property of Dalmias.

This house displays a large variety of things Jim Corbett used during his stay in this place, like fishing rods, the trophies he got, his furniture, and some books.

Cave Garden

You can catch a glimpse of various wonderful cave dwellings of different animals. There is a very attractive hanging garden above them in the Cave Garden in Nainital.
