The name of Chail’s cricket ground. It was also built by Maharaja of Patiala in 1893, which was a diehard fan of Cricket. It was built as a school ground but now is used as a ground for military students. It was sometimes used as polo ground too. In this ground, there is a tree house on an old tree set up by the school only. It has dense forests all around the ground.

Sadhupul Lake

It is situated in a small town named Sadhupul which is located in between Chail and Solan. There is a place for sitting and having food which is set up by the local people. There is a small bridge on a hill river ‘Ashwini’. This bridge was reconstructed in 2016 as it fell off in August 2014 because of an overloaded truck that got over the small bridge. This bridge is known as Sadhupul Bridge. It is an amazing place to admire nature. You can enjoy the ambience by soaking your feet in the water at a river bank. Sometimes the waves are high so the tables are to be pulled back.

Chail Palace Hotel

Built in 1891, the Maharaja’s palace is set in approximately 75 acres and has a truly regal setting with spectacular views. Siddh Baba Ka Mandir

This temple is located on a hill which is in between Rajgarh and Pandhawa. It is 8000 ft above from the ground level. It is believed that this temple is protecting the Chail as Baba Siddh himself came in the dream of Maharaja of Patiala, Bhupinder Singh asking him to change the location of the temple. Many pilgrims visit this temple from far destinations. People come here and take the blessings of Siddh Baba. This place is important because of the Saint who was buried here. This temple symbolizes the religion and spirituality for humanity and it’s a great teaching for us.

Gurudwara Sahib

A Sikh temple was also set up in Chail in 1907. This building which now belongs to Government after partition was constructed by Bhupinder Singh, Maharaja of Patiala. There are few guest rooms for the visitors which are free of cost. A Langer hall is there to serve food to people. People participate in providing funds to the Gurudwara. Beside this, there are few officials NGO’s helping for funds and requirements. As due to a lesser population of Sikh community and absence of government efforts, maintenance of Gurudwara is not proper.

Chail Wildlife Sanctuary

This is known to be the centre of attraction to Chail as it is known to be the house of wildlife. This was established as Wildlife Sanctuary in the year 1976. It is extended over 110kms. Many endangered species can be seen in the Chail wildlife Sanctuary such as Sambar, goral and cheer pheasants. It covers a large forest area with Oak, Pine, and Grassland. Many other programs have been launched for this Wildlife Sanctuary. Rhesus, Macaque, and leopards are some bigger Mammals are present here along with Langur, Black Naped hare, and Black Neer. Himalayan Nature Park

This Himalayan nature park is another amazing place situated in Kufri. It is situated about 18 km from Shimla, at over 2,600 meters altitude, the Himalayan Nature Park is located amidst 90 hectares of temperate vegetation that forms a natural habitat for many wild animals of the Western Himalaya. The snow time is late December to March. The person who loves nature can enjoy on a clear day when they can see the full Himalayan Range.
