Birdwatching in Harike Wetlands
Harike is a bird sanctuary in Amritsar housing a lake which is called the wetland in the Ferozepur district of Amritsar in Punjab. It was established back in 1953 by the headwork on the banks of Beas and Sutlej River.
The sanctuary covers an area of 4100 hectares and is home to plenty of migratory birds species. You can have some lovely moments here with your sweetheart admiring the surrounding natural beauty with Birdwatching.
There are 200+ species of birds in the sanctuary.
