About Tungareshwar National Park
Tungareshwar is a thick jungle region. It is situated in Vasai Taluka of Palghar District. It is 75 km away from Mumbai and 206 km away Pune. This is the best birding region, with lots of dweller and emigrant birds. It is not only famous for birds but also an immense place to observe wild animals like wild dogs, leopard, crabs etc.
You can have a superb experience to observe them playing and moving around without restraint in their innate territory. During summer, cobras can also be seen moving around.
Tungareshwar National Park Entry Fee
From 2016 the authorities have removed the entry fee. So now it is completely free for all tourists.
Tungareshwar National Park Timings
Tungareshwar National Park can be visited throughout the year. It doesn’t have any particular time, but if you visit early in the morning, then it will be good, particularly for watching birds. But as this is the jungle area so you should leave the area before 5:30 pm in the evening.

How to Reach Tungareshwar National Park
By Road
People staying in Mumbai can effortlessly arrive at the Tungareshwar National Park by travelling through eastern express highway or Mumbai-Agra national highway. The adjacent bus stop is Tungareshwar village bus stop.
By train
If you are planning to commute via train, then he can get down at Vasai railway station. The adjacent railway station is Vasai, and it is situated 25 Kilometers away from the National Park. One can get a taxi or auto from the eastern side of the railway station.
By Air
There are no direct flights, but you can board a flight to Pune or Mumbai and take a car or train to reach Tungareshwar.

You will not get anything nearby so it will be helpful if you carry water and food with you.

Tungareshwar Temple

The Great Escape Park
This park is located in the charming mountains of Pelhar. It is spread of 26 acres of land. There are amazing water slides, as well as one that starts from a high of 40 ft!
There are children pool and toddler’s play area. The timing of the park is from Monday to Saturday: 10:00 am – 6:00 pm And for Sundays and public holidays: 9:00 am – 6:00 pm.
